Born and raised in West Africa to missionary parents, I grew up with a love of culture and international cuisine. At age 15, we returned to the US to stay. Over the next 15-20 years, the new western diet wreaked havoc on my health. Diagnosed with endometriosis and other related illnesses in my early 30s, I was forced to take a hard look at what I was putting into my body. Now 44 years of age, I am turning back the clock with clean nutrition, detoxification and a healthy lifestyle.
