Welcome!  I am glad you stopped to view my website.  My hope is to inspire you to take time for yourself and understand that nutrition is KEY to a long and healthy life!

My name is Tami and I created the AIM For Balance Program.  I just received my certification from the Trinity School of Natural Health as a certified Health Specialist and I am also a Certified Biblical Health Coach.  I have been teaching weight loss & wellness classes since March of 2008.  I am excited and blessed to be able to help people achieve their goals of carrying around less body fat and becoming healthier.  I look forward to talking to you about starting your AIM for Balance classes and becoming a HEALTHIER you!

What is the AIM For Balance Weight Loss & Wellness Awareness Program? 

The AIM For Balance Weight Loss & Wellness Awareness Program is a 12 week program  that features proven weight loss practices, which include low glycemic eating and recipes that you can make at home that are easy, delicious and inexpensive… (Even some to sample in class!)

With all the choices we are faced with every day, we don’t always realize how they affect our health.  When we skip a meal, grab a super sized meal, drink soda or don’t get enough sleep, we are causing our bodies to work harder…often times making our bodies detour from its normal duties to take care of emergency situations.  You will learn some simple ways to equip your body to eliminate waste, renew itself, restore energy and balance, through proper nourishment, exercise and stress management.

This program is designed to help you become better equipped to manage and balance your health.  This program is not in any way intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, but to inform you of better choices to lead you on the path to whole body wellness.  It is a process that takes discipline (daily changes that you will have to work at—it IS a DIFFERENT approach, so if you have tried again and again and have not had success—try one more time with this program.  It goes beyond willpower, (because we usually cannot will the weight to come off (WISH WE COULD!) some of our best laid plans fail us).  You and I need a plan and we need small changes that will stay with us for a lifetime.  This is NOT a diet, but a lifestyle change that you CAN have success with!  This 12 week program will teach you a different topic each week, along with tips and recipes to help you succeed in proper nutrition and weight loss. Class description and schedule below.

You will have the opportunity to have your pH tested and you will learn ways to restore your body to its proper pH and also ways to help with joint inflammation issues.  I lowered my cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure by changing my eating habits!

 The 12 week session topics presented will be but are not limited to:

  • Why a cleanse is so beneficial                      

  • What is the Glycemic Index?

  • How to Read Labels

  • Complex VS Simple Carbohydrates

  • Stress and relaxation techniques

  • Benefits of journaling

  • Whole food supplementation

  • What does pH mean?

  • How do I get nutritious, whole foods back into my body?

  • How much protein is too much?

  • Emotional eating

What will you get—During the 12 week classes, you will receive: pH saliva testing , special instruction, tried and true recipes to sample, DVD presentations, and hands-on training opportunities, as well as a workbook/binder with valuable information that includes class information and handouts, journal pages and recipes (Sold seperately from class fees) , tons of group and coaching support and more! 

Classes are $10.00 per person per class (subject to change) and requires a reservation.  The  guidebook is an additional cost, which may vary depending on printing costs, but is usually around $20.00.
