A New Journey to Wellness. #1 January 16, 2014

Psalm 139:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Towards the end of last year I was challenged to do a cleanse… to give my body a whole new start.

Was this for me? I was  not sure, but the Holy Spirit prompted me to take the chance, take the plunge. I had 2 days to make the decision and I do not like to make quick decisions. What would it entail? Would I be able to do it? I simply don’t know. Then I remember that I need to walk by faith and not by sight. Again I feel the prompting… do it… do it.

So I take the step to get things rolling only to find there is another decision… do I want to go an extra step and share this journey with others. Get others on board and help them walk through this journey too. Wow… 1 day now and I have to make a decision. If I don’t do it in these few days then it will cost me $60 more. $60 is not to be laughed at… I want to be a good steward with my money… Will this be a waste. So I ask my Heavenly Father and He gives me a gentle nudge… Do it… Do it!  The still small voice… Do it!

So I take the step, by faith, then and there and sign up for a cleanse in the New Year. 2013 was my year of declutter, I had cleared a lot of things away and had tidied up things in several places in this home. And the sewage backup in the basement forced me to move all my books and shelves out… the final place to declutter and reduce… and do it thoroughly. And now I had signed up to start the declutter in my body. Was I ready for this? I was not sure,but my faith said I was determined to make a go of this and end the year with a bang, and start the New Year with my new journey well in place.

We are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made and so I look forward to a new me in a few months time…

Till next time… BB
