How is YOUR pH?
Maintaining your pH at a slightly alkaline pH, 7.4, will go a long way to making a healthier you!
We tend to eat a highly acidic diet… pop, sugar, refined foods such as chips and cakes and white bread, and this forces the body to steal alkalising substances from various tissues to try and balance the pH. For example: calcium taken from bones = osteoporosis.
Not only food, but stress, liver problems, and shock, to name a few, can cause you to go into acidosis.
This can cause many health problems, which may not be evident at first, but over time the body goes into burn out mode and the aging process accelerates and disease sets in.
How to check your pH: you can get a pH testing kit (from AIM or from me, Barbara Bird). The litmus paper will change colour according to your body pH.
How can you maintain your body pH at 7?
