If you’re anything like me, you love talking about you. And who can blame you? You’re fascinating!
MyAIMStore websites recognize your attractiveness, which is why we encourage you to add your personal testimony to your site. If you have a great story to share about how the AIM products have shaped your life or how the business opportunity has improved your lifestyle, you should share it. What greater tool can there be for drumming up business for your AIM biz? That was a trick question. There are no greater tools!
Here are the step-by-step instructions on putting biographic pen to electronic paper.
Add a New Page
Sound familiar? I’ve written about this before, but it never hurts to dig up the past. Except for junior high. That was the worst. To add a page, log in to your MyAIMStore website, click Pages > Add New from the left-side vertical menu, and pat yourself on the back for a job well done. That’s all it takes.
Write Your Testimony
Fill up that blank canvas in front of you with your AIM health and/or business story. The page editor works almost exactly like Microsoft Word, with buttons for bold, italics, bullets, and alignment. You can even jazz up your story with a picture if you’d like.
When you’re finished, make sure to give your page a title. Keep in mind, the title you choose will appear in the menu bar at the top of your MyAIMStore website. Choose wisely (and grammatically).
Did I just use “child” as a verb? Yes, I did. And to think, just a paragraph ago I was lauding correct grammatical usage in page titles.
Making a page a “child page” lets it show up underneath “parent pages” in your MyAIMStore menu. Perhaps some pictures will help.
When you make a page a “child page,” you are essentially creating a submenu. New MyAIMStore sign ups have a built-in submenu for testimonies, using this same technology.
In fact, adding your testimony as a “child” to the “parent” Testimonies page makes perfect sense. To do this, just pop on over to the right side of your Add New Page screen and choose “Testimonies” from the Parent dropdown menu.
It’s the blue button at right. It’s pretty important.
When you’re all done with your testimony-creating, you can start doing some testimony-sharing. After the page publishes, a yellow bar shows up at the top of the next page. It looks like this:
The link in that bar will let you view the page you just created. And when you’re done looking it over, you can start sending it a friend’s way by e-mailing, Facebooking, Twittering, whatever-ing the web address. Where’s the web address? Check the tip-top of your browser window. Here’s mine:
If you run into any problems posting or sharing, check out this video I put together of yours truly running through this testimony writing process. And if you have questions after that, don’t hesitate to give MyAIMStore Support a jingle.
Once you get finished adding your testimony, I’d love to see it. Leave a comment with a link to your page or send an e-mail to MyAIMStore Support. Happy biographizing!
