Fibromyalgia can cause Muscle Pain and Fatigue
Published
Do you remember the last time you had the flu or flu like symptoms? You might have tried to find relief from the muscle aches, pains, and fatigue by going back to bed, a hot shower, bath, or medication, but you discovered that nothing would eliminate the symptoms. This is what it can feel like for many people who have Fibromyalgia (FM). They experience this day after day, for weeks, months, and even years, with the amount of pain varying from mild to incapacitating.
I started experiencing the symptoms of fibromyalgia when I was 15 years old. I am happy to tell you that I have managed to decrease the symptoms through several lifestyle changes and supplements. May is International Awareness Month for Fibromyalgia. I pray that you find hope and encouragement in the following information to help you have a good quality of life, despite the FM.
What is Fibromyalgia?
The Arthritis Foundation explains that fibromyalgia is characterized by long lasting pain in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons throughout the body, chronic fatigue, sleep disturbances, and tenderness at specific points on the body. It affects 3 to 5 percent of the general population which means that somewhere around 200 million to 400 million people worldwide are experiencing FM symptoms. At this time, there is not a medical cure available.
People normally do not die from FM, but it can rob them of their quality of life. The Fibromyalgia Network News explains that other symptoms of FM might include chronic headaches, memory problems, skin sensitivities, numbness, tingling, or burning sensations, irritable bladder, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, TMJ (pain in the face, jaw, and head), dizziness, and low grade fever.
Lack of Enzymes can cause FM Symptoms
Experts explain that the lack of enzymes can cause the same symptoms of fibromyalgia. Enzymes are found in raw foods so it is important to eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables every day. The US Department of Agriculture recommends 8-10 servings a day. If people don’t get enough enzymes through their food, then it would be beneficial to drink a good “juiced whole food” supplement and digestive enzymes. I have taken AIM’s BarleyLife and PrepZymes for over 20 years with wonderful success in improving my health.
Deficient in the Good Fats can cause some FM Symptoms
Studies show if a person is deficient in the essential fatty acids (“good fats”), they can experience arthritis, fatigue, inflammatory diseases, memory loss, low immunity, and many other symptoms similar to fibromyalgia. I take AIMega to make sure I am getting enough good fats in my body.
Dehydration can cause some FM Symptoms
It is important to drink a lot of water to help deliver the nutrients to the cells and remove the toxins. The recommendation is to drink half of a person’s weight in ounces. An example is if a person weighs 150 pounds, then they need to drink 75 ounces. Symptoms of dehydrations can include muscle aches, lack of energy, cramps, and headaches.
Toxins can cause FM Symptoms
Many studies show that a build up of toxins in the body can cause fibromyalgia symptoms. The lymphatic system was designed to remove toxins from the body but it needs the help from exercise or herbs. I exercise on a regular basis and sometimes take Herbal Release which is a combination of herbs that are beneficial to the lymphatic system. It is also important to clean the toxins out of the colon. Experts explain that two to three bowel movements a day is healthy so if the colon does not move properly, then it sets up a toxic environment I drink Herbal Fiberblend or Fit and Fiber. They have lots of fiber to move the toxins out of the colon.
Parasites can cause FM Symptoms
Research show that parasites like to live in a compacted colon which is more reason to keep the intestines healthy. Parasites that live in a person’s intestines will eat the person’s food and leave their waste products in the person’s body. This can cause the same symptoms as FM. Think about it: people worm their cats, dogs, cattle, and horses, so why not themselves?
If you, family, or friends have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I pray that you find hope, encouragement, and relief from the FM symptoms by getting more enzymes, good fats, removing toxins and parasites from your body, drinking plenty of water, and learning more about FM. For more information on the subjects just mentioned or on the supplements that I took to decrease the symptoms of FM, you can contact me or order my book, Fibromyalgia and Fatigue: A Recipe for Feeling Fit and Healthy.
