Taking Care Of Your Joints
Published
Joint health is important to our mobility. The body was design to move so let’s take care of our joints so that we can be active and healthy.
One of the diseases that affect the joints is arthritis. Arthritis means joint inflammation and refers to several diseases that cause joint pain, swelling and stiffness. There are over one hundred types of arthritis including osteoarthritis (cartilage in the joints wears out), rheumatoid arthritis (membrane lining of the joint is inflamed) and ankylosing spondylitis (inflammation of the spine). Some related conditions include fibromyalgia (soft tissue and muscular rheumatism) and gout (build-up of uric acid crystals in joint fluid). Arthritis is believed to be sometimes caused by injury but more commonly a result of the wear and tear of aging, diet and lifestyle. It can also be caused by bacterial, viral or fungal infection of a joint.
Exercise regularly. Aerobic exercise increases blood flow to nourish joint tissues . Do regular activity to strengthen muscles that support and protect the joints and control your weight to reduce stress on the knees. Some forms of arthritis can be reversible, and in some cases curable, with proper diet, and life style changes.
Building a diet around whole foods, drinking eight glasses of pure water daily, and using AIM supplements will nourish cells to be their best.
