Who said that BarleyLife is only for people?  Our pet found Life Without Limits, permit me to tell you the rest of the story!

In the Fall of 2002 we noticed that our 8 year old collie named Lassie was starting to limp.  The joint on her right leg above the paw was swollen and tender to the touch.

Lassie had always taken extreme pride in having a backyard free of squirrels, she simply chased them up one of our many trees.  The day that I realized just how painful her leg was, was when I noticed her standing on our deck staring down at a squirrel at the bottom of the steps.  Normally Lassie would have been down the stairs in a flash and the squirrel would be up a tree.  On this day she chose not to go down the steps.  It was just too painful for her.

I wanted to be sure of what the problem was, so our veterinarian took an X-ray and drew some fluid out for testing.  The diagnosis was either going to be a tumour or arthritis.  It was arthritis.  Drugs were suggested, but I had another plan.

We started giving Lassie 1 teaspoon of BarleyLife, dry directly into her mouth.  As time went on we also added Frame Essentials.  She began to run around like a puppy.  She was able to go up and down stairs with no problem and the swelling in the leg receded.  Touching her leg was not a problem.  Lassie was back at the vets for a yearly checkup and our veterinarian was amazed at the difference in her leg.

Every 3 months Lassie was professionally groomed.  Her groomer is using BarleyLife for herself and for her dogs.  She breds Shetland Sheepdogs.  She gives them excellent food, but wonders if some nutrients are missing.  They won’t be with BarleyLife.

The Frame Essentials helped with the mobility of Lassie’s leg, but I believe it is the nutrition and chlorophyll in BarleyLife that really made the difference.  Her overall health was wonderful.  Her skin was healthy and her coat was soft and shiny.  It was not that way before BarleyLife.  Lassie always came on camping trips with us and there was concern of her getting in and out of our motorhome but even that did not prove to be a problem.

BarleyLife permitted our dog to really enjoy the last 5 years of her life.  Lassie lived until she was 13 years old….a good age for a dog.  Now we have a 3 year old cat named Shadow, who, coincidentally had an issue with his paw.  He sits and waits for his share of BarleyLife every morning, the paw is healed.  He is in excellent health.
