Blogging Tips AIMSTore

A lot of you, and by that I mean almost some people, have asked me through various channels how to promote their blogs so that your brilliant treatises, theses and posts aren’t lost forever in the murky recesses of the sprawling interwebs. I hear you. It’s a tough, tough world out there. Every company has a blog and every blogger has at least two blogs and even some blogs have blogs. Now that this blog has been resurrected, the AIM Companies has three blogs and all of them are written by the same guy, so if you don’t like how I write, you’ve got 3x the suffering. Self-deprecation/realization aside, no one is going to get very far on their own, especially working with a shoestring budget. That’s why we need to help each other out.

What I would like to do is create an index of all the active AIM Member blogs/sites out there for my own personal use back here at home base. I’ve managed to track down a few of the larger and more active AIM sites and blogs, but I fear I’ve only scratched the surface. There is an SEO technique called linking back or linking through or whatever, and it’s probably one of the stronger SEO techniques in terms of getting found on the Internet. For example, if I wrote something about Red Rush on this site, one of the things I might do is add a link back the to the Red Rush Blog. This increases the likelihood that the Red Rush Blog will be found when Googled. I want to start linking back to your sites. So post your AIM website in the comments, and I’ll add it to my list. AIM or AIM-related sites only. I don’t want to see your Kevin Sorbo Fanpage. I mean I do, but not professionally.

Since we are a network marketing company, we have a lot of sites out there. That means there are more opportunities to spread the the links around and increase our collective Google ranks. The AIM 2014 Convention in Savannah, Georgia recently ended, and I’m certain that you know at least one or two AIM members who have blogs or websites. You should team up with somebody else and help promote each other’s blogs on your social media pages and websites. At the very least, do some linking through for each other. Also, comment on each other’s blogs. Make it look like that blog is a fun place to hang out and chat. Other people will show up and you can tell them about BarleyLife. If you can’t find an AIM Member to team up with, then, by golly, I’ll help you find one. Just post it in the comments and we’ll get it all sussed out.

Secondly, if you post something that you find really excellent, send it to me via the MyAIMStore Blog comments. You’ll get a little SEO just from doing that, and I’m good for a blog comment here and there, and I might be able to Tweet it or promote it elsewhere. (There are some legal restrictions to what I can and can’t promote from the head office, so no promises or guarantees.)

As a network-marketing company, we should be building our social network to promote our products and raise public awareness of how good they are. This blog can easily function as centralized hub for creating a stronger online presence for the whole company and every AIM Member and their online presences. I hope to hear from you, and I hope to see you at the top of the search results.
