Thought about “Your Bones” Lately

Published

I picked up this book in my library the other day and I like what it says.  The book is Your Bones   HOW YOU CAN PREVENT OSTEOPOROSIS & HAVE STRONG BONES FOR LIFE-NARUTALLY by Lara Pizzorno, MA. LMT with Jonathan V. Wright, MD.

Lara Pizzorno’s book  YOUR BONES    has a photo on the back cover of her having hiked in Stehekin Washington at age 60.  This is a great feat because in her early 50s she had been diagnosed with osteopinia which is the precursor to osteoporosis. We are told that once you have osteoporsis you can only hold off bone loss not regain your bone density back.

Lara credits regaining her bone density to the things she did that are recomends in her book  Your Bones.  She states the she is genetically at high risk for osteoporosis because she will be the first  woman in her family for generations not to die a osteoporosis-related death.  She believes “you too can have strong, healthy bones for life.”
