Nutrition For Pets!

Renee, the Barley Lady is here again!  Today I want to talk about my cat D.J.  Actually I have three cats but this blog post is about my cat D.J. and how he started losing weight and looking ill.  He seemed to be eating fine but he wouldn’t gain weight and kept losing.  If a vet would have seen him they would have said we were neglecting him even though we weren’t.

Well, I was very concerned about him because I also noticed that he was beginning to get these growths on his side, three of them to be exact.  I prayed and asked God what I needed to do.  Then I remembered that others in my AIM family have used the BarleyLife to help with their pet’s nutritional needs with good results.  I had tried to put the BarleyLife in the cats’ food before but they would only eat at it when they were very hungry.  I didn’t want them to get sick from not eating enough so I stopped giving it to them for a while.

After all that, I had an aha moment.  I remembered that my D.J. loved milk and would sneak up on my kids who were eating their breakfast cereal and try to lap up the milk.  This gave me the idea that maybe I could use milk to give the BarleyLife to the cats.  D.J. absolutely loved it while the other two cats drank it alright with no excitement. They drank it the first day or two but didn’t care whether they had it or not.

The way I gave the BarleyLife to D.J. is I took a ½ tablespoon of milk and mixed 1/8 teaspoon of the BarleyLife along with a small amount of the RediBeats.  D.J. goes crazy over it and he won’t let me forget giving it to him.  The only time he doesn’t tell me is when I tell him we are out of milk.  I don’t know how he understands but he doesn’t bother me anymore about it.

Ever since D.J. started drinking his BarleyLife milk he has been acting like a kitten and chasing our three year old cat.  He acts more like a kitten than he did when he was a kitten.

Another plus from D.J.’s BarleyLife milk was two of the three growths are gone and the third is getting smaller.

It’s fun watching D.J. running around like a kitten and playing with the other cats.  He likes to play with my hair when I lie on the floor and my husband Frank loves to watch.

I love my cats and I want to take care of them the best I can.

Blessings to all,

Renee G. the Barley Lady
