Leader of my TOPS Group for the Day

Today I got the opportunity to be the leader of my TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibily) group.  I was supposed to start with the statement “Will the meeting of TOPS 100 Independence please come to order.”  I started by asking everybody who could stand “Please stand for the TOPS Pledges,” and I proceeded from there.  This was the second time I have stood in for my leader but the first time we just had a discussion on what those who went to SRD (State Recognition Day) liked and/or disliked about SRD.  This time was different because I had everything on my shoulders and had to remember everything I needed to do.  I made some minor mistakes but I was able to overcome them.  I don’t think anyone thought that I was totally lost.  I kept my composure when I had doubts at what to do.

Juanita Candillo gave the program today which she called “Tips for TOPS” about healthy lifestyle. She also talked about applecider vinegar and the benefits of vinegar.  Juanita also demonstrated an applepeeler that cores and spiral slices the apple.  She said that it makes it easier for people who have false teeth to eat the healthy apple.  After seeing the demonstration of the apple slicer/corer I decided that I wanted one. She also talked about green smoothies made with green veggies and a small amount of fruit and how good they are for you and yummy too.

I myself am a KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Seneibily) and I am at the top part of my leeway.  What I mean about leeway is in TOPS Club, Inc. when you reach your goal you have become a KOPS  and leeway is 7 pounds below your goal and 3 pounds over your goal.  Well I have been fooling around in the top of my leeway and this week I lost 2.5 pounds only a half a pound from my original goal. My goal is to get below my goal weight by next week.  Cross your fingers for me and pray that I make it.  I will be doing what I need to do, like not eating because I am stressed.  Making sure I do my walk with Leslie Sansone.  Of course I want to remember to take my GlucoChorm which is the Chromium supplement I take that helps me manage my blood glucose levels.  Even though I don’t have Diabetes the GlucoChrom helps curb my sugar cravings and thus helps me maintain a balance in my body.
