Team Work: Where Success Lies

Team Work: Where Success Lies

There is no such a thing as a self-made man or woman.  People who think they have achieved on their own have never looked around them to see who’s helped them get as far as they have.

Who are some of the people who have helped them achieve?  The parents, good or bad, influenced how they respond and handle life. This could be from encouragement of the parents, or this could be in the disillusionment of childhood.  The latter may cause the person to really believe that they succeeded on their own merits.

Other people who have helped may have been teachers, coaches, employers, friends among a few. These people helped them in their development which helped them to believe that they can do the things that they want. So as they build a very successful business as an adult, they need to look around them and to take into account  just who was there helping in their success.

Like Sandra Felton founder of Messies Anonymous  in her book, The Messies Manual , “You alone can do it, but you can’t do it alone”, this is also the slogan of Messies  support  groups.

Albert Einstein, the scientist  who is known for his theory of relativity, didn’t live in isolation.  He realized he was indebted to those people who helped him in his work, and said, “Many times a day I realize how much my own outer and inner life is built upon the labors of my fellow men both living and dead, and how earnestly I must exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received.”
