Some of my Favourite recipes from the Wonderfully Well Book by Celeste Davis

Genesis 1:29

New International Version (NIV)

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

That is pretty much the food that brings life to our bodies… the God made food in its God made form! (i.e. not altered by genetics or stripped of all its goodness.)

Celeste gives many, many recipes in her Wonderfully Well ebook as well her her eflyer: 3 Days of Raw. Some of my favourite recipes in those are:

  1. See chapter 11 for dressings dips and marinades. So many variations to keep your salads interesting. (please note the ingredients… some of them are not suitable for the cleanse and reintroduction time, BUT remember that is only about 6 weeks of your life!)
  2. Aunt Celeste’s Kale salad pg 184 and 3 Days of Raw (Asian Salsa dressing in 3 Days of Raw great on this salad)
  3. Broccoli salad pg 188 and 3 Days of Raw
  4. Aunt Pauline’s Cucumber and Tomato Salad pg 189/190 and 3 Days of raw
  5. Rice Paper Wraps pg 191/192 and 3 Days of Raw
  6. Sweet Potato Fries with Rosemary pg 201
  7. Yukon god Oven Fries pg 201/202
  8. Roasted pumpkin seeds pg 206
  9. Butternut Squash soup pg 217

10. How to help yourself if you have trouble digesting beans pg 230/231 was very helpful to me and I am sure will be for you as well.

  1. 3 bean salad pg 232

12. Black bean salsa salad pg 233 and 3 Days of Raw

13. Basic Hummus pg 234/235 (and I make a few changes too, I will share in the next blog)

14. How to soak nuts, seeds and grains pg 240-242

15. Hot chocolate pg 243

16. Sweet and spicy pecans pg 245

17. Quinoa pg 245/246 **

18. Roys Fluffy Spelt biscuits pg 262/263 (not for cleanse period, introduction time and after cleanse) **

19. Golden Dragon Sauce pg 15 in 3 Days of Raw *

20.Asian Salsa pg 16 in 3 Days of Raw (great dressing!) *

21. Chocolate Cherry Mousse pg 18 in 3 Days of Raw*

* = some of the ingredients I could not find so I simply left them out. (e.g. sriracha sauce and coconut full fat milk to make crème fresh)

**= Take a look at these recipes, there are many here. We are allowed a bit of quinoa a few times a week during the cleanse, so see if there are any there that can be enjoyed during your cleanse weeks.

You cannot have spelt on the cleanse, however, look at these recipes to get ideas to make things on your introduction days and to use after the cleanse (if spelt is not high on your offensive list) (check updated blog on where I can buy things)

So these are the recipes that I used during my cleanse and reintroduction period. Some of them I adapted to my liking and to what I have available, but there is a great selection.

Have fun! Enjoy the food that God has given us. We have a whole world of beautiful tasty food out there that benefits us!

Blessings… till next time! (My own found recipes!)
