Smoothies… A wonderful start to the day.

Isaiah 26:7

The path of the righteous is level; you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth.

Smooth means without bitterness or harshness (in foods and drinks)  or having an even and regular surface and consistency.

In this verse we see how Christ makes our way smooth, if He lives in us and we are righteous because of His blood. He will make us able to take whatever comes if we focus on Him. As we walk through life, we like it when things are smooth, and when we eat, it is good and pleasing to our senses when the food is smooth.

A smooth, sweet, cool smoothie goes down well for breakfast… the start to our day. I get tremendous pleasure out of drinking my smoothie in the morning. I often thought to myself I could have that 3 times a day. Well… let me tell you of a day a few months ago when I did have 2 smoothies in the day and by evening I was ready for other food! It was a stressful day and I had no appetite and wanted to have some sustenance without upsetting my system. That is why I had a second smoothie. But in the evening I did want something warm and savory…

Anyway, let me share with you a few recipes of smoothies that I have enjoyed, or someone close to me has…
